Ortho Trauma Call

A private scheduling application for orthopedic trauma physicians to submit availability requests, manage call and Trauma OR coverage, review predetermined holiday obligations, and publish finalized schedules.

What the application does

Approved physicians can submit unavailable dates, No Call requests, and No Trauma OR requests. Administrators can manage scheduling periods, predetermined holiday call assignments, generate and edit schedules, finalize coverage, and publish approved schedules to a selected Google Calendar.

How Google data is used

Google sign-in is used to authenticate approved physicians using basic identity information such as email and profile data. When an administrator separately connects Google Calendar, the application reads the administrator's calendar list so a destination calendar can be selected and uses Calendar event access only to create, update, or remove Ortho Call and Trauma OR schedule events on that selected calendar. Google user data is not used for advertising.

Who can use it

Access is restricted to physicians, fellows, and administrators who have been added to the authorized roster. The application is a staffing and scheduling tool and is not intended to store patient information or protected health information.
