Terms of Service

Effective date: September 20, 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of Ortho Trauma Call, a private physician call and Trauma OR scheduling application. By accessing or using the application, you agree to these terms.

Authorized use

The application is intended only for physicians, fellows, administrators, and other users who have been specifically authorized by the participating orthopedic trauma practice. You may not attempt to access another user’s account, bypass access controls, or use the service for an unauthorized purpose.

Accounts and Google sign-in

Users are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account or other credentials used to sign in. Access may be suspended or removed when a user is no longer authorized to participate in the scheduling system.

Scheduling requests and assignments

The application assists with collecting requests and generating schedules. A generated schedule is an administrative planning tool. Final responsibility for confirming clinical coverage, resolving conflicts, arranging substitutions, and communicating changes remains with the practice and its authorized administrators.

Submission of an unavailable date, No Call request, No Trauma OR request, or other scheduling preference does not guarantee that the request will be granted unless the final approved schedule or practice policy provides otherwise.

Google Calendar publishing

An authorized administrator may connect a Google Calendar and publish finalized schedule events. Users understand that Calendar events may be created, updated, or removed when schedules are published or republished. The administrator is responsible for selecting the correct destination calendar and reviewing the published schedule.

No patient information

The application is not intended to function as an electronic medical record, patient communication system, or repository for protected health information. Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, treatment details, or other patient-identifying information into the application.

Professional and clinical responsibility

The application does not provide medical advice, credentialing decisions, staffing guarantees, emergency coverage, or clinical judgment. Users and the participating practice remain responsible for compliance with professional duties, hospital policies, applicable laws, and patient-care obligations.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Availability and changes

The application may be modified, interrupted, or unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, software updates, third-party service outages, or other operational reasons. Features may be added, changed, or removed as scheduling needs evolve.

Third-party services

The application relies on third-party services such as Google authentication, Google Calendar, cloud hosting, and database hosting. Use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer

The application is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable as the sole source for determining clinical staffing or call coverage.

Limitation of responsibility

Users should independently verify important schedule information. The application should not be relied upon as the sole mechanism for urgent clinical communication, emergency coverage, or time-sensitive staffing changes.

Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when a user is no longer authorized, violates these terms, or when continued access presents a security or operational risk.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as the application changes. The current version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
